CHEF BIOGRAPHY

Chris Liechti is chef-owner of Epicureans, and has a culinary career that spans 3 decades. Liechti is a graduate with honors of the renowned Culinary Institute of America. He has apprenticed under a culinary Olympic gold medalist and studied with Master Pastry chef Emil Waldis of Switzerland.

Most recently, he held the position as the executive chef of the Woodstock Club in Indianapolis for over ten years. Chef Liechti is also an adjunct professor in the culinary program at Ivy Tech Community College. He also has a degree as a food and sanitation inspector for the United States Air Force that has always been reflected in the many food facilities that he has managed. Those operations range in experience from chef positions for Club Corporation of America in 4 states and 8 different Clubs in both city and country clubs. As well as directed operations in large hotels, private restaurants, catering facilities and large national chains, and has participated in continuing education in specialty classes like sugar pulling and blowing, chocolate displays, wine and food pairing and many other culinary related subjects.
